Here at TomsGuitarLessons we wish to respect your Privacy by committing to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information.
We have adopted the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (the Privacy Act). The NPPs govern the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your Personal Information.

Child Safe Policy
We want children who participate in our guitar lessons to have a safe and happy experience. We support and respect our children, their families and our workers.
Our policy guides workers (paid and volunteer) on how to behave when interacting and engaging with children in our organisation. The policy focuses on how we can build and maintain a child safe environment which is inclusive, transparent and promotes children’s participation.
Our organisation supports the active participation of children in the programs, activities, and services we offer.
We provide a range of ways to allow children to provide feedback or raise concerns. We listen to their views, respect what they say and involve them when we make decisions, especially about matters that will directly affect them.

Working With Children Check
What is a WWCC?
The Working With Children Check is an Australian background check requirement, assessing the criminal record of those working or volunteering in child-related work.
All our teachers are qualified with a "Working With Children Check" (WWCC). The Working with Children Check demonstrates that our teachers are suitable and safe to teach children according to the NSW Government. This ensures the safety of our students, and your children.
Child Safe eLeaning Course
What is the Child Safe eLearning Course?
The Child Safe eLearning course is a program educating teachers about keeping children safe within organisations.
The Child Safe Course is important to our business as your children need to feel and be safe when lessons are conducted. Therefor all our teachers enrol and complete the Child Safe eLearning Course, ensuring the safety of your children.
