Working With Children Check

As a guitarist I'm grateful that my parents enrolled me at a young age, after-all here I am now as a qualified guitar teacher, capable of enjoying teaching, performing, jamming and writing my own music. As someone who learnt guitar at a young age, I not only have many years of experience but I remember learning guitar as a child and have developed successful teaching methods from my mentors successes and fails. You may wonder for your child...Do they really need lessons? As Someone who has both self taught themselves and enrolled in various lessons throughout the past: I cannot exaggerate how much guitar lessons have benefitted me positively.

However could I learn guitar without lessons? Yes! If this business was a selfish profit making business I would not claim that you can learn guitar without guitar lessons. But the real question is:

Would you be the best guitarist you can possible be without lessons? I can answer that question for myself and the answer is no.

Although you can learn guitar on youtube, masterclasses, websites... Do you really get the same one-to-one interaction as in a class?

What happens when you learn a bad habit but theres no teacher to tell you it's incorrect? Your children, especially at a young age, need to develop good habits when learning guitar. Many unqualified guitar teachers actually teach these bad habits without realising they are! These unqualified guitar teachers like to pop up on youtube, and other free platform (I'm not saying all guitar teachers aren't qualified, just some).

Personally, I have completed the grades (1-8) and am certified with a teaching diploma through the University of West London. I also possess a working with children check (WWCC) and have completed the Child Safe eLearning Course.

It is highly important to us that your child is safe when conducting lessons and doesn't feel insecure. All teachers have conducted the "Child Safe eLearning Course" and possess a "Working With Children Check" (WWCC), to ensure that our teachers and teaching methods are the safest for your children.
